Switched to a shorter jib on a Liebherr LTM 1050 for a tight downtown Portland job last Tuesday
Thought it'd speed things up with better clearance, but ended up spending an extra 2 hours re-routing the load because the shorter reach kept fighting the building corners. Anyone else have a similar surprise when swapping jib lengths on an urban site?

Portland streets are brutal for that. Ran a 1050 on a Morrison Hotel retrofit last year, same issue with a shorter jib fighting the building lines. Unexpected corners always eat your schedule.

Wait, TWO extra hours just from re-routing? That's brutal. I'd be livid if my time got eaten like that on a tight downtown gig.
