Rant: I swore by hand signals until a guy in Duluth showed me his radio setup
For 8 years I ran every blind lift with hand signals and trusted my spotter's eyes over any gadget. Last month a guy in Duluth ran a 60 ton pick over a building using a $200 radio belt and his spotter never once lost sight of the load. Anyone else made the switch, or do you still trust your rigger's hands more than a speaker?
