Blew $400 on a "self-leveling" crane hook last year

Bought this fancy electronic hook from a rep at a trade show in Houston. Took it out on a job site and the leveling system glitched within an hour, nearly dropped a load of steel. Anyone else had bad luck with those computerized add-ons?
