The chest trick in Stardew that stopped me from losing track of my tools
I kept misplacing my watering can and hoe in the middle of my farm work, and it was driving me a little nuts. Last week I started putting a chest right next to my house door and dropping my tools in it the second I walk in for the night. Honestly it sounds small, but I have not lost a single tool in 12 in-game days. Before this I was running around my whole farm in the morning looking for stuff, sometimes wasting a chunk of the day. The trick is to keep it right where you sleep, not out in the field, because you always pass it on the way in. I also put my seeds and fertilizer in there, so my morning routine is just grab and go. If you have tried something like this, does it stick for you or do you end up with chests all over the place?
