DAE catch that most people plant their crops in rows wrong in Stardew and lose half a season?
I spent about 3 in-game weeks last winter testing crop layouts and finally noticed the sprinkler reach pattern trips up almost everyone I've watched play. People line everything up in tight straight rows, but if you leave a 1 tile gap around each quality sprinkler, you water 8 tiles instead of 4 and save a ton of early morning energy. I only figured it out after my parsnip patch died twice in one season and I sat down with graph paper like a nerd. Now my fall pumpkin harvest hit 40k gold by year 2, which is way more than my first farm ever managed. What layout finally clicked for you?
