Almost skipped Slime Rancher over the cartoon look, and that was dumb of me
A buddy in Boise kept pushing me to try Slime Rancher for about 3 months and I kept saying it looked like a kids game. Then I put in 6 hours on a rainy Saturday and realized the ranch layout and slime feeding loops are more satisfying than half the resource grinders I play. It never punishes you and the game literally cannot kill you, which I thought would be boring and instead is the best part. What game did you write off as too cute until you actually gave it a shot?
