Visited the old Nike missile site in the Marin Headlands and the tour guide's story didn't add up.

The guide said the site was fully decommissioned in 1974, but I spotted a modern, secure-looking antenna array and fresh gravel on a service road that wasn't on the park map. One side says it's just routine park maintenance upgrades, while the other thinks it hints at a reactivated site for something else. What's a more likely explanation for the new hardware at a historic Cold War spot?

Honestly, it's probably just comms gear for the park service or coast guard. Those old bunkers are solid for mounting antennas. But fresh gravel on a secret road? Makes you wonder what they're not putting on the public map.

What if they're hiding something bigger?
