TIL my uncle's deer camp has its own 3 acre burn pit and that finally broke my "everyone's hiding something" phase
For 2 years after a buddy in Toledo showed me a 40 minute video about burn pits I figured every landowner with one was covering for something, until last month at my uncle's place near Cadillac I watched 6 guys from 4 counties toss brush and a busted recliner in and just talk about the Lions, so now when a clip tells me a burn permit means something sinister I ask what county and how big, because 3 acres in the woods is just a guy who hates the dump, and I want to know if anyone else has a spot like that they'd hand you the matches for.
