The DMV renewal that took 4 hours for a 10 minute process

I needed to renew my driver's license last month and went to the Pittsburgh DMV on Banksville Road. The whole thing should have taken maybe 10 minutes but I ended up waiting 4 hours because the computer system kept crashing every 15 minutes. Has anyone else noticed these government systems getting worse instead of better over the years?

And that was on a good day, I've heard it's been worse since the pandemic.

Worse since the pandemic" kinda feels like that was code for "it's been a dumpster fire with a side of garbage" lol. @the_wren I'm half expecting next update to say people are swinging from the ceiling fans in there.
