That moment my moon landing slides got torn apart in a physics forum
Popped into a physics subreddit last Tuesday thinking I had proof the Apollo footage was staged. Had this whole timeline mapped out from a documentary I watched. Some guy named OrbitalMechanic replied with actual math on lunar gravity simulation. Took me 45 minutes to realize I couldn't argue against real equations. Anyone else had their whole theory crumble because you didn't check the basic science first?

Owned myself thinking "I just watched a documentary" beats actual math.

Yeah @val_wilson, did you at least check one source from the documentary against actual numbers before you took it as truth? That sunk cost feeling is brutal but now you know to double check the claims instead of trusting the editing.
