Swapped from Chemtrail belief to listening to ham radio guys instead

I used to spend hours watching YouTube videos about chemtrails and reading forums. But after talking to a guy named Rick at my local hobby shop who showed me how planes actually dump fuel and the science behind contrails, I switched to listening to ham radio operators talk about weird signals. That was a year ago and now I just tune into their frequency debates about government drones. Anyone else ditch one conspiracy rabbit hole for a more technical one?

Oh, so you traded in your chemtrail decoder ring for a ham radio and a tinfoil beanie? Nice upgrade. I guess swapping one rabbit hole for another is better than falling into a black hole, but now you just get to argue about whether that weird buzzing sound is a government drone or just Bob's faulty antenna down the street. At least with the chemtrails you had pretty sky pictures to look at. Now you're just staring at a static-filled screen like it's 1993 and you're waiting for dial-up. The funny part is that Rick at the hobby shop probably thinks he "saved" you, but you just traded one obsession for a more boring one. Next thing you know, you'll be building a crystal radio to listen for alien broadcasts from the microwave in your kitchen.

Nah, ham radio is way more useful than staring at sky trails.
