Spent 6 weeks debunking moon hoax clips before I caught my own bad habit
I was arguing with a guy on a forum about the Apollo footage and kept pulling up the same 3 YouTube breakdowns as my proof, then he asked for the raw NASA source and I had nothing. Turns out I had been trusting secondhand debunk videos as if they were primary documents, which is the exact thing I yell at conspiracy posters for doing. So whats your rule for checking whether your own sources are actually first hand, or do you just trust the guy with the nice editing?
