Overheard two guys at the coffee shop arguing about the moon landing hoax
I was grabbing a latte yesterday and these two dudes were going at it about whether we really went to the moon in 1969. One guy kept saying the flag waving proved it was fake, but the other pulled up a NASA paper from 1970 explaining the vacuum and rod mechanics. I never actually looked into that specific detail before, and now I'm halfway down a rabbit hole reading old mission transcripts. The whole conversation only lasted like 10 minutes but it got me thinking about how many people just repeat stuff they heard online. Has anyone here dug into the actual Apollo evidence and come out with a solid opinion either way?

half the time i think people get too worked up over this stuff. like yeah the moon landing happened, the evidence is pretty solid, but who cares if some guy at a coffee shop thinks its fake? its not like hes gonna change the history books or anything. i watched a whole documentary once that broke down all the flag physics and radiation belt stuff and honestly it just made me feel bad for the engineers who had to explain it over and over. people believe what they want to believe, you know? the internet just gives them a bigger soapbox to stand on.
