My uncle sat me down at a diner in Akron, Ohio, 6 months ago and spread out 23 pages of water test results he got from the city, saying a chemical plant had been dumping stuff since 2019. I told him he was reading too much into it, but then he pulled out a letter from the EPA that said the town had been on a watch list the whole time and he just smiled at me.
