My uncle has been arguing the moon landing was staged at every single family dinner since I was like 10 years old. A couple months back I was helping him clean out his garage in Toledo and found a shoebox of VHS tapes he labeled himself, all taped off live TV from July 1969. Here's the thing, he had 6 hours of coverage recorded that day, plus a handwritten list of times he wrote down while watching, and one note literally says the signal cut out for 90 seconds right when they were landing. He heard that dropout himself sitting on his couch 55 years ago and somehow that turned into proof it never happened, even though the tapes show the whole broadcast plain as day. I've watched two of them with him and he keeps pointing at the shadow angles like they're a smoking gun. How do you even argue with a guy whose own evidence is what made him a believer in the opposite?
