My brother's Navy buddy made me question the moon landing footage
We were drinking at his place in Norfolk last Saturday and he pulled up slow-motion clips of the flag rippling, then showed me side-by-side comparisons with studio wind tests. He's not a truther, just an engineer, but his breakdown of the film grain and shadow angles was way more convincing than any YouTube rant I'd seen. Has anyone else had a talk with someone in a technical field that made them doubt something they'd never questioned?

Damn, that hits different when it comes from someone who actually knows their stuff. Engineers don't usually buy into wild theories, so if he's pointing at real technical details, it makes you stop and think. I've had similar moments where a buddy broke down something I took for granted, and honestly it's a weird feeling having your brain flip like that.
