Debate: did the moon landing really have a technical failure that day or was it staged?

I was at a friend's house in Cleveland last Saturday watching old NASA footage and noticed the flag seemed to ripple when there's no air. Some people say it's just the astronauts moving it, others think it's a smoking gun. What's your take on the whole flag thing?

My buddy Dave swears his uncle worked on the Apollo film set and said the flag was just a prop.

Just ask him one simple thing - which Apollo mission was his uncle on. The film set thing falls apart real fast when you realize there were 6 successful moon landings, not just one. If his uncle was on set for all of them, ask for specific details about Apollo 13's "filming" since that one never landed. Most people who buy into this stuff never thought about that. Get him to show you one photo of this uncle on set with any kind of evidence. Usually the story gets real quiet after that.
