Trowel machine changed my finish game after 15 years of hand floating

Used to think power trowels were for lazy crews with deep pockets, then a big garage slab in Tulsa forced my hand. Ran the 36 inch walk behind wet and it cut my finishing time from 6 hours to 2. Has anyone else fought the learning curve on carpet vs pan blades, or am I just late to the party?

Carpet blades are the cheat code, pan blades are for amateurs. Wet troweling with a walk behind is a whole different animal, but once it clicks you never go back. Six hours to two is the kind of savings that pays for the machine in a month, lol.
