Tried a magnesium float instead of my usual wood one on a walkway pour yesterday
I mean the difference in how the cream came up was night and day, way smoother finish with way less effort. Anybody else made that switch or am I just late to the party?

Christopher hit it right on the head. Made the swap last season and never looked back, the finish is just so much smoother and you don't fight the tool near as much. Took a couple pours to get the hang of the different feel in your hand, but once you do it's honestly hard to go back to wood.

Took me forever to make the switch but yeah it's a total game changer for sure.
