Toured a big box store slab and hated how they finish it
Ngl, I walked through a new retail spot outside Phoenix last week and watched their crew bull float a slab for a loading dock. They left it too wet and troweled it early, so it'll dust and flake within a year. Everyone raves about speed, but I'd rather see a day added than a warranty call later. Is it just me or are production pours getting rushed across the board? Has anyone else seen this on commercial jobs lately?

Saw the exact same thing on a warehouse floor in Tucson last month. They were screeding it like it was a race and you could already see the bleed water sitting there. I told the GC to watch out but he just shrugged, guess we'll see who's fixing it in a year.
