Thought those fiber mesh additive bags were a gimmick until I tried one on a driveway pour in Boise
My supplier threw in a bag for free on a 12 yard pour last week and I swear the surface finished cleaner with almost no hair cracks. Anyone else running mesh additive on flatwork, or do you still just toss rebar in and call it good?
Man that stuff surprised me too when I first ran it on a shop pad, way less cracking at the control joints. Just watch your dosage on hot days, too much and it turns into a fuzzy mess on the finish.
