That control joint nightmare near Omaha that took me 8 hours to fix

I poured a big driveway outside Omaha last spring and thought I had enough expansion joints. But the concrete heaved bad during that first freeze and cracked straight across the middle. It took me 3 full days to saw out the bad section and repour it with proper joint spacing. Anyone else ever deal with heaving issues from skimping on joints in colder climates?

12 hours... that's just insane, I can barely handle a 6 hour day out there.
