Switched from hand troweling to power trowels for big slabs last spring...
I used to do everything by hand, even on 400 square foot garage floors in Denver. My knees and back were killing me after every pour. Then I rented a power trowel from Sunbelt in May for a 600 square foot job and finished in 2 hours instead of 6. The finish came out way flatter with no trowel marks... have any of you made the switch on smaller residential work or do you still stick to hand tools?
