Shoutout to the broom finish trick I learned on a job in Austin

Was doing a patio out in Austin last month and the guy running the crew showed me this way to wet the broom before each pass. Keeps the bristles from dragging chunks outta the mix, makes the lines way cleaner. Took me maybe 3 tries to get the pressure right but now I'm getting a finish that looks machine done. Anyone else got a go-to for keeping broom lines even on bigger slabs like 20 footers?
