Man that is the worst feeling when you got wet concrete setting up and your tool just quits on you. Honestly your helper freezing up is kind of funny in a painful way, like he was waiting for you to tell him the next move while you're standing there holding half a rake. I would've told him to grab the bull float and keep it moving instead of just watching the show.
