I finally measured the psi on my driveway pour last week

Honestly, I found out the spec called for 4000 psi and I was only hitting 3200 because my water ratio was off. Has anyone else checked their mix after the fact and been shocked at the difference?

the real issue nobody's talking about is your water-to-cement ratio actually changes the color of the finished concrete. i had a buddy who poured a slab and ended up with these weird lighter patches where he overwatered the mix. ended up having to stain the whole thing just to make it look uniform. so besides the strength thing, you might notice some splotchy spots in a few weeks.

bro you're stressing over 3200 vs 4000 psi? unless you're building a skyscraper in your driveway i doubt it matters that much. most houses are poured at 3000 and they hold up fine for decades. unless you're parking a tank on it it'll probably outlast you anyway.
