Changed my mind about using acrylic sealer on stamped patios

Three years ago I was dead set against acrylic sealers on stamped work, thought they peeled too fast and looked cheap... A job I did last month at a house over in Springfield used a high-solids acrylic and it still looks perfect after a month of heavy rain. Am I missing something with the newer formulations or did I just get lucky?

Wait a month and get back to me. That new coat still has to survive a real summer with UV and freeze-thaw cycles before you can judge it.
