Bought a $140 power trowel blade, used it once, and it chipped on day one
Tbh I figured the pricey blade would handle a garage pour with a few small rocks in the mix, but it chipped within the first 20 minutes and left a streak I had to grind out. Anyone else had premium blades fail that fast or am I just cursed with bad aggregate?

A 140 dollar blade shouldnt chip on clean concrete, that sounds like a bad heat treat on the steel. Ive had cheap blades last longer than some pricey ones, so it really comes down to the batch you got. Did you check the edge after first pass, or did the rock catch it mid-pour?
