The moment I quit using canned air for cleaning PCs
Used to blow out dust with those expensive canned air cans, running through 3-4 a week on a busy job. Switched to a Metro vacuum blower last month after a customer complained about the chemical smell, and now I just plug it in and go. Has anyone else made the swap and found a vacuum blower handles tight spots okay?

Used to be all about canned air myself, thought vacuum blowers were too bulky and not worth the money. Then I borrowed a buddy's Metro for a big job with a bunch of old dusty towers and it hit me how much time I was wasting on those little cans. No more nozzle freezing up or that gross smell either, just clean dry air. That residue you mentioned always drove me crazy too, thought it was normal until I saw the difference. What made you finally switch over, was it the cost or the smell?

Canned air is a total scam honestly. I switched to a Metro blower last year and never looked back. The chemical smell thing is real too, one time I was blowing out a server and the customer thought there was a gas leak. Tight spots? Just get a small brush attachment and you're good. Canned air always left a weird residue anyway. Plus you save a ton of money not buying those cans every week.
