Had a server room flood scare at a small law firm downtown last Tuesday
I was on site for a routine server check when I saw water dripping from a ceiling tile right above their main rack. My heart just dropped. The AC unit on the roof had a clogged drain line that backed up. I yelled for the office manager, and we had to power down everything and move the rack with just the two of us. It was a mess, but we got it on a cart and into a dry hallway before any real damage happened. The cleanup crew showed up an hour later.
