Debate: Is it time to stop blaming users and start looking at our own setups?

My desk setup is held together with hope and a zip tie that's way too short. I once blamed a user for "not understanding the interface" when it turned out my monitor was plugged into the motherboard instead of the GPU. Pretty sure I'm in no position to point fingers with a rat's nest of cables that looks like a metaphor for my life choices.

My own setup is so janky I'm pretty sure blaming users is just my subconscious trying to deflect from my spaghetti-cable management. Anyone else feel called out by this post?
