Cleaned a dusty office PC with a paintbrush and now it won't boot

Got a call for a Dell Optiplex that was overheating. It was packed with dust, so I unplugged it and used a soft paintbrush to clean the heatsink. Plugged it back in and got nothing, not even a fan spin. Turns out I must have nudged the 4-pin CPU power cable loose when I was brushing near the top of the board. Lesson learned: always double-check every connection, even after a simple clean. Anyone else had a 'fix' create a new problem like this?

It's always the simple fixes that bite you...

Totally feel that, @harper_rodriguez87. Honestly spent two hours last week trying to fix a weird noise in my car. Tbh it was just a loose gas cap making the check engine light come on. Felt so dumb after the mechanic showed me. Those simple oversights really do come back to get you every single time.
