Appreciation post: My shop's thermal paste choice was between MX-4 and Kryonaut for a gaming rig

We went with Kryonaut for the higher thermal conductivity, and the client's CPU temps dropped by 12 degrees Celsius under load. Anyone have a go-to paste for overclocked systems?

Honestly, that's a huge drop. Makes me wonder, @park.joseph, did you ever run into a case where the paste choice actually made things worse? Like using a super thick paste on a low-pressure mount and getting awful contact. I've seen that happen with some of the carbon-based ones.
