Wasted $80 on a pressure washer attachment for cleaning deck boards

Bought this rotating surface cleaner attachment for my pressure washer at Ace Hardware, and it just threw mud and debris everywhere instead of washing it off. Anyone else had bad luck with those spinny attachments for shared tools?

Man oh man those spinny attachments are a total scam. Bought one last year thinking it'd be a game changer for my patio and it just shot mud and crap all over my car. Ended up spending more time cleaning the mess it made than the actual deck boards. Figured out later those things need way more water pressure than a typical homeowner setup puts out. Ridiculous that they sell them like they're supposed to work out of the box.

@lucas_c24 I'm gonna push back a little here, respectfully. My experience with those spinny attachments has actually been pretty solid once I figured out the trick. You gotta have a pressure washer that pushes at least 2.5 GPM or they just spin too slow and fling mud everywhere like you said. Most homeowner grade units don't have that kind of water output. Once I upgraded to a higher flow machine, the difference was night and day. It actually cleaned my concrete in half the time with zero streaks. Your mileage may vary, but I wouldn't write em off completely.
