That broken hammer handle turned into a 3 week nightmare
Thought I'd just swap the handle on my old framing hammer. Took me 3 weeks to find a proper eye size that fit. Anyone else spend way too long hunting for simple replacement parts?

Three weeks for a hammer handle... I'd have just bought a whole new hammer by day 4.

Oh MAN, I feel this in my soul. I spent TWO WEEKS once trying to find a specific size of screw for a broken chair leg. Ended up buying a whole set of 50 screws just to get the ONE I needed. So yeah, I could definitely see myself wandering around the hardware store for three weeks holding up a hammer handle and squinting at it like a confused caveman.
