Shoutout to the guy who showed me how to borrow a pressure washer at the Oak Street library

I used to think tool libraries were just for little stuff like hammers and screwdrivers. Then last Saturday I was at the Oak Street Community Center and saw a neighbor borrowing a big electric pressure washer for a driveway job. He told me he'd saved $80 on a rental from the hardware store and it was checked out free for the whole weekend. That got me curious so I walked over and looked at their catalog online. Turns out they've got tillers, concrete mixers, even a small log splitter. Now I'm planning to borrow a post hole digger next week for my fence repair instead of renting one from Home Depot for $45 a day. Has anyone else there borrowed a big power tool and been surprised by how smooth the process was?

Who actually wants to use a dirty community pressure washer that probably breaks halfway through.

Heard any good stories about what happens if you actually use one of those things after somebody left it sitting wet for a week?
