Realized I was returning tools wrong for 2 years
I’ve been part of our library for a while and always just wiped tools down with a rag before bringing them back. Last month the volunteer checked a circular saw I returned and pulled a glob of resin off the base plate. He showed me the protocol sheet I’d been ignoring that says to use a specific solvent on blades and bits. How many of you are actually following the return cleaning guide or just doing what feels right?
