Found out our tool library has a 3D printer scanner thing and I'm shook

I was at the checkout desk last Tuesday picking up a post hole digger and noticed this weird gadget sitting on the shelf behind the counter. Asked the volunteer what it was and she said it's a 3D scanner that can scan broken parts so you can print replacements. Apparently someone used it to scan a cracked garden hose nozzle and made a new one for like 2 bucks in filament. Has anyone else found random high tech stuff hiding in their tool library that nobody talks about?
