Finally used the tile saw from our tool library today
I used to rent a wet saw from the big box store for every bathroom project, costing me $60 each time. But last month I joined our community tool library and borrowed their tile saw for free. It was a bit older than the rentals but cut perfectly fine. Have any of you found a tool at the library that saved you from buying or renting something expensive?

Grabbed a power auger from ours last spring because I needed to unclog a drain line that was totally blocked with tree roots. I almost bought a cheap one from the hardware store but figured I'd only use it once every few years. That thing worked like a charm and saved me probably $200 plus the headache of storing a giant tool I'd barely touch. It's kind of funny how many things we think we need to own when really we just need them for a weekend. The library has honestly changed how I think about home projects.
