Chose the $300 battery drill over the corded rental, still not sure I win
Our tool library in Austin added a cheap corded drill for checkout, but I pushed hard for us to buy one $300 battery kit instead, thinking portability would get more use. Three months in, the battery drill is checked out every weekend, but I just spent 2 days replacing its dead cells because people kept returning it without charging it. Has your library dealt with battery tools dying on the shelf, or do you stick to corded only for that reason?
