Chat with a neighbor changed how I see our tool library signups
I was talking to this older guy, Ron, at the hardware store last Saturday. He said he never borrows from our library because he figures the good tools are always checked out or broken. That hit me because I just assumed everyone knew we rotate stock and fix things fast. I wonder if other folks here have had neighbors or members say something that made you rethink how you talk about the library?

Ron probably still thinks the internet is a series of tubes too.

I was actually reading an article about this the other day... it said something like 40% of people over 70 still think the cloud is literally a cloud in the sky. Which honestly explains a lot about our current government situation. But with Ron specifically, I remember hearing a podcast where they talked about how he once asked if you could catch a virus from downloading a PDF. Dude really is stuck in 2002. It's funny because he acts like he's this tech savvy businessman, but then he says stuff that makes my grandpa look like a hacker.
