Bought a used pressure washer from a neighbor for 40 bucks and it paid for itself in one afternoon
I got this old electric Karcher K2 from a guy down the street in Austin for 40 dollars last weekend. Used it to clean my driveway and two decks and now I figure that woulda cost me like 150 at a car wash or renting one. Anyone else feel like pressure washers are the tool library item that gets the most use per dollar?

My buddy down the street actually told me he saw a thing online about how pressure washers save you more money than almost any other tool you can rent or borrow. It makes sense when you think about it. That 40 bucks is nothing compared to what you would drop on a commercial wash or having someone come out and do it for you. Plus you get to do it whenever you want which is nice. I ended up cleaning my fence too after the driveway and that alone would have been another 100 bucks easily. Just gotta make sure you winterize the thing right or it cracks.

Definitely agree with that. The fence thing really shows it - once you have the washer you start finding all kinds of stuff to clean that you didn't even think about before. That first rental pays for itself after like two or three jobs and after that it's just pure savings.
