A guy at the swap meet said my sign up sheet was "scary," so I cut it down to 5 lines
He looked at the 2 page waiver I made for our shed on Delmar and said nobody wants to feel like they're signing a mortgage to borrow a post hole digger. I swapped it for a one page form with just name, phone, and a checkbox for "I'll bring it back clean," and we went from 6 members to 31 in three weeks. Anyone else run into this where the paperwork was the real barrier?
