Warning: that sewer job off the coast of Galveston nearly cost me my mask seal
I was doing a saturation dive on a sewer outfall pipe near Galveston last month and a piece of broken concrete snagged my hose - if my tender hadn't caught it in 10 seconds, I'd have been dead weight down there. Anyone else had close calls with loose debris on bottom work?

Man, that's terrifying... a snagged hose is nightmare fuel for sure. I had a similar thing happen up in the Gulf of Mexico on a pipeline job, a big chunk of rusted metal got wedged against my bailout bottle. My heart was pounding for like five minutes after.

Idk man, the thing that always works for me is just getting real still and taking a second before you move.
