Update: My comms went dead at 90 feet on a bridge piling job in Mobile Bay yesterday.
I had to switch to hand signals with my tender and finish the cut on a 4 inch steel pipe, which took an extra 40 minutes and spiked my air use... anyone have a good fix for a helmet mic that keeps failing in cold water?

Man, that sounds like a special kind of Monday. My old mic used to do the same thing and turn every dive into a game of underwater charades. You'd think for what we pay they'd make a seal that doesn't quit when it gets chilly.
