Turns out whales can hold their breath longer than I can on a tank

Read a report from the Navy dive manual last week. Sperm whales go 90 minutes down to 3000 feet. My last working dive off San Pedro was 45 minutes at 120 feet and I felt it in my sinuses for two days straight. Anyone else ever wonder if we're just overcomplicating this whole bottom time thing?
