Rant: Old school wrist straps versus the new dry glove system
I finally gave up the old rubber wrist seals on my drysuit after 8 years in the Gulf. The new ring system, like the Si-Tech ones, cut my dressing time down to maybe 5 minutes instead of wrestling for 20. But I still miss the feel of the old seals on a 60 foot dive in Port Fourchon, they never leaked like these rings do on the left side. Anyone else find the new gear is faster but way less forgiving when you're tired at the end of a 12 hour day?
