Just found out how many shipwrecks are in the Great Lakes

Was reading a report from the Thunder Bay sanctuary last night. It said there are over 200 known wrecks just in that one area. I always knew there were a lot, but that number blew my mind. Makes you think about all the history down there. Anyone ever work on one of those sites?

Remember seeing a documentary about the Edmund Fitzgerald. The way they talked about the storm that night gave me chills. It's wild to picture all those ships just sitting in the dark down there.

Man, that documentary got to me too. Just thinking about the size of those waves and how fast it all happened. It's one thing to read the facts, but hearing the voices of the guys who were out there that night? That hits different. Makes the whole lake feel like a different, scary place. Have you read any of the crew's letters home?
