Spent $80 on a debugger course, wish I did this at month one
Tbh I started coding 8 months ago just copying from YouTube and free sites. Got by for a while but hit a wall when my own scripts kept breaking and I had no clue why. Paid $80 for a structured debugger course on Udemy after a friend pushed me. Honestly it changed how I read tracebacks, like I finally get what the error messages are saying. Now I actually fix my own mess instead of starting over. Anyone else pay for a tool or course early on that paid off way more than free stuff?

Man, that's wild. I did the opposite, I paid like $40 for a JavaScript book back in the day and never finished it because I kept falling asleep. But years later I stumbled onto a free video about using print statements to trace variables and that was the real game changer for me. It's funny how we all find our own "aha" moment with debugging, sometimes it's the paid stuff and sometimes it's just some random dude on YouTube. Now I'm tempted to grab that same course just to see if it fills in any gaps I still have.
