Remember when you had to buy a whole book just to learn a language?
Back in 2012, I spent a week trying to get Python set up on my old laptop. The book's instructions were wrong, and I almost quit. Now you can just click a link and start coding in your browser. Anyone else have a memory like that from when they started?

Getting a compiler to work felt like a secret rite of passage back then! The instant access now is amazing but I kind of miss that weird sense of accomplishment.
